Every Lowcountry Yoga class is more than exercise. Here we strive to provide a welcoming space where you can connect your physical practice to your mental and emotional needs.


Things just feel right when they are aligned.

Body mechanics are the focus of this class. Through slow movement and longer holds, this class will challenge your muscles to hold your body in proper alignment and stretch deeply to increase flexibility. It may sound easy, but this class will challenge everyone!


The Move class comes in two forms:

FAST & HOT is a heated power Vinyasa class that will get you sweaty and energized. In this class, you will follow a traditional flow structure incorporating breath to movement that will lengthen and stretch your muscles while working up to a peak pose.

SLOW & COMFORTABLE also follows a traditional flow structure which integrates the holding of poses with smooth transitions. However, this class will move at a slow to moderate pace so that positions can be held for a longer period of time. The purpose of this class is to encourage a deeper stretch for the body while still getting a full body work-out. The room will be lightly heated for this class.


It’s good to be powerful!

STRENGTH: FOUNDATION AND FUNCTION focuses on building strength of your foundation — it will take you from movement on the mat to movement in life. Utilizing weights, resistance bands and/or your own body isometrics, we will help you move more confidently in a way that enhances performance and reduces the risk of injury in other activities. These exercises incorporate movements from pilates, barre and strength training, all of which require control and precision. These movements are designed to enhance flexibility and increase core endurance. Whether you sit a lot throughout the day, have had an injury — or are simply a human — building strength in the areas that help you function in your daily life can help you lead a healthier and happier life.

STRENGTH: HIIT & YOGA will push your body and mind to limits that you didn’t think were possible — AND YOU WILL LOVE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! This class moves fast, integrating yoga, HIIT and weights. Bring a towel.


Inhale…. and Exhale….

Pranayama — or Yogic Breathing — is the practice of breathe regulation. Focused attention on how we breathe can regulate blood pressure, improve immunity and lung health, increase relaxation, decrease stress and help you sleep better. While we do it everyday, this class will teach specific techniques to help us do it better. The breathing exercises will leave you energized, calm and focused. This is a seated class, bring any props that allow you to sit comfortably for an extended period of time.

Rest & Reset

Relaxation and meditation are key to a healthy mind and body. Whether you take a late morning Yoga Nidra class in order to be more alert and effective during the second half of the day or a Yin Yoga class in the evening to promote a restful sleep, these classes are a true joy.

What should I wear?

Light athletic clothes are best. For most classes, you will want to dress for movement and sweating. Fo the Rest & Reset classes, you may want to layer so that you are comfortable throughout.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive to class at least 15 minutes early. An instructor will greet you and check you in. If this is your first class, introduce yourself! We want to know you!
What should I bring to class?
Bring an open mind, a yoga mat/towel, a sweat towel and a water bottle. You can also buy these at the studio if you need them. We even have apparel if you forget your pants!
Is the room heated?
Sometimes. When you book, each class identifies whether it will be hot, mildly heated or have no additional heat. The level chosen is specific to the style of class being taught and the outcomes that students want from it.
What if I'm not flexible?
Then this is the place for you! Flexibility increases over time. Through consistent practice you can increase the range of motion in all of your muscles and joints — and maybe even in your mind. “I can’t” or “It will never happen” may slowly dissipate from your thoughts.
What if I have never done yoga?
That’s cool, come anyway. It will be our honor to introduce you to the practice!

Every yogi in the room was once a beginner too. Our teachers are here to help and support you. They can answer any questions you may have before or after class. They will also offer modifications during class.

Should I eat before class?
You can — but keep it light. Too much food in the stomach during class can be uncomfortable. We don’t want your snack to ruin your class! Also drink water before, during and after.
Can kids attend?
Sure! You know them better than we do. That being said, be sure to only select classes that they will be able to handle. For example, a Move: Fast & Hot class may be too much for some. All students under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Students 16 and over may attend classes without a parent or guardian once the waiver is signed.
Who can benefit from yoga?
You, me, your cousin, your neighbor’s long lost love and the guy at the grocery store. EVERYONE benefits from yoga. Yoga exercises the body and mind. Try all of the classes! You will get something different from each one.
What if I can't make it to class?
You can cancel your class anytime up to four hours in advance of class with no charge by going to your account on-line or through the app. Cancellations up to four hours in advance of class will be charged a $12.00 late cancel fee and no shows will be charged a $15.00 fee. As as small, boutique studio with limited space this helps to ensure that your fellow yogis have the opportunity to attend if you are not able to.
I put myself on the waitlist. Does this mean I have to come to class if I make it off?
Putting yourself on the waitlist is a commitment and should be treated like a full class reservation. If you will not be able to make the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist prior to our four hour cancellation window.
